we are trying not to utilize the readily available credit cards that are within our reach so much. our goal is actually not to use it at all after reading dave’s book.
so in the last couple of months, we’ve been really trying to pay off what we owe and only buy things that we really want (notice i said want cause that includes my nikon d40) with cash instead. using cash will make us think twice before we hand over our money unlike taking out the card and swipe.
we only have 1 card left with a balance and that will be paid off by the 31st of this month! the only reason we have the balance this long is because there’s no interest until next month. that’s my excuse. LOL i’m really making the deadline huh?
needless to say, after this one is paid off, we’ll be credit card debt-free! i can smell the fresh feeling of not having our money go to the cards each month! woohoo!
james is alot better at not spending money than i do. i’m at the point where no credit cards is allow in my purse anymore. hehehehe i can definitely live with that!

Congrats! Definitely must feel like a load has been lifted!
