i have about another month before i go on my maternity leave for about 3-4 months. i cannot wait!! can you hear me? i cannot wait!
i’m training my replacement at the moment. she’ll be taking over my position until i go back sometime in october. i’m really looking forward to being home with the girls for a week or so and then the baby. if i could, i’ll rather be a stay-at-home mom. how many times have i said that already? *sigh* but the bills do need to be pay, etc, etc.
the training’s going well. she’s picking things up quick. i’m actually going to reduce my hours starting next month so i won’t have such long days – with my doctors’ appts, my days can get really really long!
in addition, i’m gestational this time around so i’ve been monitoring my blood sugar. my doc said my numbers are fine and i shouldn’t have to be on meds. whew…
my baby’s very very active. he moves alot and i just love listening to his movements. one of my favorite pregnancy times.
my total weight gain so far: 29 lbs. not bad huh? i gained 60 with my first, and 50 with my 2nd. it’s no wonder i can’t lose it all.

Oh Shellie I’m sorry to hear that you have gestational diabetes. I had gestational diabetes and it was the hardest to over come while carry my daughter. I had to take my blood sugar every meal and it hurts pricking my fingers. I’ll pray for you and hopefully it gets better in time after having your son.
