we tested the stroller that i got on clearance at target when i was 3 months pregnant. ages ago huh? we went the farmers’ market today and stroll around in it. i find it easier to manuever than those travel systems. the only thing is that it’s hard to get into the storage underneath. seriously. iguess for the price i shouldn’t complain. the seats can accommodate up to 40 pounds each. did i mention that jaelynn loves it?

i love the farmers’ market! i try to go every other weekend. i love buying fruits and veggies from there. the prices are great and you get fresh fruits without the grocery store prices. today we bought 5 big baskets of cherry tomatoes for $1 each – i put these in the freezer and use them year round. they are such a pretty deep red color.

other fruits we got are 2 cantoloupes, 2 honey dews, 6 pounds of asian pears,  & 6 pounds of white necterines. i was going to get a watermelon but we were out of space. we are usually out by the middle of the week with our fresh fruits – the girls love eating (especially jaelynn) and i will give her fruits before any candies.

(i did!) thanks to slickdeals! i have always receive my magazines from rewardsgold. i actually have a bunch of subscription magazines that come every month. the ones i don’t bother to read are elle (only flip through them), interview, and some others. i just throw them in the recycle bin. i do love shape, glamour, redbook, and body and soul.

i bought some new things for the household again (i always buy things *sigh*. and i use “household” because it’s not really for me. )

preserve toothbrushes in soft – you can recycle them afterwards. i’ve tried them before and love them! $16.22 for a pack of 6.

dropps laundry pacs - you use 1 small liquid pack per load of laundry. biodegradable and eco friendly. looks great huh? i’m going to use them for the baby’s diapers. they’re suppose to be low sudsing too. can’t wait to try them. $25.50 for 84 pacs (2 x 42 pacs each).

for two of the above products, i subscribe to their auto-delivery and save an additional 15%! that’s a great way to save. you can always cancel the subscriptions after. what a great way to try some of these more eco friendly things that i can’t get at the stores or cost a bunch somewhere else.

as for the bella b tummy honey (see post below), i love it!! smells great and the cream is very nice! will love to buy when run out…but at $15?? ouch!

oh and my bella b glowing face wash/mask should be here tomorrow.

spicy kimchi flavored noodles!

okay, saw this on slickdeals. if you love these noodles (we do!!!), amazon is having a special this whole month, buy $29 worth of nongshim products and get $10 off plus they always have free super saver shipping over $25! my total was $27.92, which comes out to about $6.98 each box. this is a great deal considering you’ll be paying more buying it from the local asian supermarket.

i got us 2 boxes of kimchi flavored and 2 of the hot and spicy. i love these and they have just enough spicy flavored to it that faith can also enjoy. i only use half of the seasoning packet. really that’s all you need cause using the whole packet makes it too salty.

with honey, milk, and oatmeal, who could resist?

i was at big lots months ago and stumbled upon a row of got2b’s mo moisture gel masque. it’s suppose to “soften, hydrate, and smooth” your skin with weekly uses.

i bought it because it was only $2 and who could resist the combination of honey, milk, and oatmeal? sounds yummy huh? well i can tell you it smells just as yummy!

i’ve been using it for months now and really really like it! it’s a gel but non drying and again it smells yummy – color is a clear light golden.

for once or twice weekly, i love it. i probably wouldn’t use it every day but it does hydrate my skin and it goes on clear so sometimes i forget i have the mask on.

it is now in rotation with my other zia, and suki products. recommended!

now onto the even yummier stuff, i made some curried stir fried vermicelli noodles. can you tell i love noodles? :wink:

let me tell you, if i was ever to become a vegetarian, this’ll be my daily dish. i love it! so much that when i ran out of green beans yesterday, i went and bought some more today. the first thing i did when i got home was cook this dish and then i had dinner. i love the spicy taste (i’m all about spicy food!) that you can feel all the way in the back of your throat. now that’s some good stuff.

shrimp and vegetables with wheat noodles

i’m not good at baking at all. however, the last weekend i’ve tried 3 recipes by the pioneer woman cooks and love them all! plus they turned out great!

i tried the shrimp, twice baked potatoes, and chicken spaghetti. my favorite? chicken spaghetti! james is not too fond of that one but it’s okay cause i can eat it up all by myself. for dinner, for lunch the next day, and dinner again and it’s all gone. faith likes them too!

the shrimp dish was delicious too! next time though, i’ll try the bigger shrimps. the twice baked potatoes, i couldn’t get the good size ones and ended up using the small potatoes. let me tell you, when i’m trying to scrape them out and leave the skin intact, it was real hard. or maybe i didn’t cook them long enough. either way, i really like them.

i can’t wait to try more of her recipes. they look great and much easier because she’s got nice big pictures to help along the way. my next recipe? the cinnamon rolls baby! i’m trying them tomorrow night so i’ll see how it goes.

today is my co-worker stacie’s last day at work. we had a little going away luncheon for her; the food were from dos coyotes and they were delicious! enchiladas and chicken salad! the dressings were to die! my co-worker, debbie, baked 2 kinds of brownies and an earthquake cake with coconut shreds in the middle. super yummy!

i got her a little gift – it’s a burt’s bees baby gift set! no she’s not expecting but they would love to have one. the gift set comes with a washcloth with a bee sewn on, shampoo bar, soap bar, buttermilk lotion, apricot oil, dusting powder, and diaper ointment.

it’s always sad to see a dear co-worker go and i wish her the best!
