this is thing is not bad. we got home at about 8pm last evening and i was able to whip this out and took a few shots before it got too dark. jaelynn was too busy running around so i asked faith to be my model. she does a wonderful job huh?

i’m also thinking of getting another lens for my d40. i’m considering the nikkor 50mm AF f1.8D or 1.4D but the price difference is almost $200! most likely it’ll be the 1.8D unless i can find the 1.4D for less…hmmm…

the downside of course is that the lens won’t autofocu on the d40/d40x so i’ll have to do manual focus. i’m not too sure about that since my eyes are sensitive and they tear up anytime i start squinting more than twice. *sigh*

alright, the pioneer woman is one of my favorite sites. i love her writing but more than that i love her photos! they are just so vibrant , sharp, and beautiful!!

anyway, i downloaded a bunch of photoshop actions from a few groups on flickr and deviantart. i’ve been playing with a couple and thought i’ll show you some of the ones that i really like, my favorite so far (and i still have hundreds to go!) are the coffee shop’s – flickr group & courtney’s.

i know some people don’t like to use photoshop because their photos are already very beautiful but like make up can enhance your beauty, i think photoshop actions enhance your photos. blah blah blah

here are a few actions i tested in photoshop cs – i don’t have the newest version so some of the actions i downloaded wouldn’t work right. oh well.
