how do you like my new theme?

in the process of trying to save myself some much needed extra cash, i switched hosts. dathorn is wonderful and my support tickets were all answered in under 1 hour. plus my sites have never experience any downtown that i know of. so they’ve kinda spoiled me a bit. in all my years of being hosted, they are number one on my list. the only reason i left is because i was paying $13.50 and will now be paying $5 a month instead. i can do other things with that spare change.

all my sites are now on a shared hosting plan of 1500mb of space and 10gb of bandwidth. more than enough for my sites. there’s no whm panel but i’m learning how to use addon domains in cpanel and it’s super easy! our new host is knownhost and they have very good reviews at WHT so i don’t feel so bad. they’d answered my 2 support tickets in less than 1 hour too!

first, this weekend we went on our first family swimming:

i have about six domains with enom.com under a reseller’s account. however, i think i may be switching them all to godaddy in 2 weeks.

i still have $8 balance in there, which means i can add another year to one of my domain and then i’ll move so my money’s not there for nothing. and since i’m not registering domains for anyone but me, i hate the $100 deposit each time your balance hit zero. good enough reasons right? oh and godaddy have great prices too.

with my digital scrapbooking “virus” attacking at the moment, i spurge and got a bunch of stuff from 4 different sites last night. they are so gorgeous that i cannot wait to play with them. that is, if i can get some creative ideas from this dull mind of mine. lol

last night was one of the first in a LONG time that jaelynn woke up in the middle of the night. she was all smiles, meaning not wanting to go back to sleep. and i was tired! so i play with her and tried to get her to go back to sleep but she was having a good ol’ time doing her little aahhss…and ooohhhs and gigglings. how can i resist?

i fell asleep between the hour and a half that she was up. even james woke up to sort of play with her – meaning trying to get her to sleep. at 2:30am, she feel into an exhausted sleep and i get my sleep. so i am tired this morning and woke up at 5am. i usually don’t mind this kinda thing from her because she rarely wakes up in the middle of the night. it’s just that this morning started earlier than usual – 5am instead of 6:30am. hey that extra hour and a half really helps!

first, a thank you to cynthia for suggesting i scan my images in 600 dpi instead of the 300 dpi i’ve been doing. i think it has made a really big difference. thanks again (hugs)

i stayed up all last night and finished faith’s photo book. i have 22 pages on there and i really like it. i actually cheated and bought some quick pages to help me out because of my time limit. i am glad i did. i got it done early this morning, and then woked up and finish hubby and mine. with ours, i make 95% of the layouts myself. 2 or 3 of them were quick pages too.

i also have 300 FREE prints i need to order by midnight or it’ll expire so i’m uploading photos like crazy at the moment. and i’m getting free standard shipping so my order should only be for the extra pages from the photo books. i’m writing this entry as they are uploading. don’t you just love firefox’s tab browsing?

so i downloaded a bunch of digital scrapbooking freebies and started scrapping! i love all the freebies! it’s great for starters and they are just so beautiful!!!

i got them from so many websites but my favorites so far are from shabby princess! i love her designs and she includes so many things in her freebies – ie: alphabets and numbers.

anyway, after unzipping everything i made the cover for what faith’s scrapbook would look like – so far i like this one. it’s 8×8.

edit: i think it’s too plain. i’ll add more scraps tomorrow.

i also want to try my hands at digital scrapbooking and if i like the results, i can print them on the photo books too! oooh…i am so excited!

this morning, jaelynn woke up with a mild fever – it is the first fever she’s ever had. it was hard seeing her so sad and fuzzy. i just gave her some fever medicine and she’s playing with faith now and crawling. *sigh* i feel so bad when they get sick.

her 3rd tooth is popping out – actually it’s already halfway out. and she’s standing up all by herself now and walking along the edges of the couches. faith took her first steps by herself at almost 10 months. i’ll see if jaelynn will too since she’s more cautious than faith.
