Google has announced it will axed the Reader in the next couple of months. Sad sad sad!

Today, I did a search on readers and found Feedly. It’s a lot more intuitive and prettier than GR. I like that it has an app (everything has an app, yeah?), you can access via Google, anf the transition to Feedly will be seemless. I won’t have to import anything.

Another thing I really like is categorizing my feeds. How cool is that? Now I can jump to the sites I want to read right away. I love the interface and how it’s pretty up but not cumbersome. It is just a bit slower to load than GR but it’s to be expected as it incorporates more graphics and photos right off the bat.

With each post, there’s a small photo next to it, which I decided I really like.

I will be playing (and using) with this from now on. Unless I find something to really dislike, this will be my answer to GR.

I love me some lipsticks!! However, I usually stay away from lip glosses since the colors aren’t pigmented enough on my very pigmented lips. The other day, I saw this post from the Cafe Makeup and a strong lemming was born to try this liquid lipstick. The only other liquid lipstick I tried was Korres’ and that didn’t do anything for me.

Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Edition

 I originally want Canvas but since the Sephora I went too was all out of it (of course!!), I picked Edition, the 2nd safest shade for someone who usually pick safe, neutral colors. Edition is a beautiful glittering (almost hot) pink, more warm than cool which works just fine for me. This comes in a see through flat tube that I think is just gorgeous. The color of the tube is exactly the color you’ll see on your lips. If I’m not mistaken, all of these liquid lipsticks are super pigmented and dries within seconds to a matte finish on your lips. The finish to me is super beautiful but it can be a bit drying if your lips are already dry and will accentuate the patches. So make sure you exfoliate and moisture your lips well before applying. Once dry, it doesn’t seem to transfer much on me and you can see the tiny glitters on my lips. The glitter doesn’t bother me though. I think I will grow to even like them. Now the colors does seem to disappear a lot after eating but other than that, I think the staying power is very decent.

What I love about this lipstick is the pigmented formula so you don’t need to apply so much to get the desire color and coverage. It goes on very smooth. I love the matte finish so it is not sticky unlike Korres’. This also makes it last longer in my opinion. I apply this in layers, working very lightly with just a bit of product on the brush. This way I can spread and add more coverage to where ever I need as oppose to swiping a bunch on.

This is my favorite Fall / Winter lipstick for now and I can definitely see myself wearing this EVERY day. I love the rich color, the application, the finish, just about everything really. It really brightens up my face and I can always use that. It is now in my make up bag, along with the CK One lipstick in Dollface, in my purse.

At this moment, my hands are itching to wrap themselves around Canvas. Unfortunately, it’s also out of stock online. Double bummer. Now if I could find a red lipstick I could rock too, that would be perfect!
